Lucie was my first Trakehner. I fell in love when I met her as a two-year old and she is the kindest horse I have ever known. In 2001 she had a very successful eventing season under Barbara Crabo of Four Peaks Farm, Scottsdale, Arizona. She was 1st place four times and 2nd place once at very large shows, at both Novice and Training levels. She was again evented in 2004, with two first place finishes and one fifth.
Lucie's first foal, Libbie by Feuertänzer was awarded the designation of "Model Mare" by the American Trakehner Association in 2006. At the age of 4, Libbie has gone on to an eventing career and was purchased in 2007 by a teenage girl who plans to continue eventing her. They are getting along wonderfully.
Lucie produced Lickity Split, a black filly, by the Trakehner stallion Windfall *Pg* in 2007. This filly has already been sold to Lucie's previous trainer, Barbara Crabo. Lucie is expecting another foal by Windfall *Pg* in early 2008. This foal is for sale in utero.
