Homers Odyssey by the Thoroughbred stallion White Tie Tryst (by the Breeders Cup Classic Winner and Horse of the year, Black Tie Affair) and out of the Trakehner mare Herbstaster *Pb* by Target.
Homer is out of the incredibly talented Trakehner mare, Herbstaster *Pb* who had a very successful Eventing career, competing though Advanced in a career spanning over 10 years. Homer is by the Thoroughbred stallion White Tie Tryst, who has sired winners at the track, elegant local Hunter Jumper horses and was sire at a World Class Polo facility for a few years being bred to their mares that have competed in Polo around the World. They were very happy with the filly's he sired for them! White Tie Tryst is out of a mare by Drone (by Sir Gaylord) both of whom are in the pedigree of many very successful upper level modern sport horses. Drone is the sire of a gelding I knew personally who went on to a career in the Grand Prix Jumpers!
This elegant, leggy colt has good looks, very good movement with an outstanding temperament! Homer will be a very tall boy. Currently stands 15.1 hands at 14 months old.
