out of Domina by E.H. Argument
Imported from Germany,
approved by the German Trakehner Verband in 2004 with a score of 54.5 (8,8,7/7,8,8.5/8)
Dorina was discovered by my friend Jennifer Oettle on a trip to Germany. I had asked her to look for a pretty mare with interesting bloodlines, that could have an eventing career and be a future broodmare. After looking at many mares she found Dorina. This mare was performance tested in Schleswig-Holstein and received a score of 8.4! She received a 9 for jumping and 9's for ridebility from both the judge and the guest rider. Dorina was also chosen for the Trakehner Verband Jumping Program.
Dorina brings very interesting and unusual bloodlines to the U.S. She is by the Anglo-Arabian stallion Bouquet AA
who is by the Shagya stallion Bajar ShA
. This side of Dorina's pedigree is well known for producing event and jumping horses. Bouquet AA
is the sire of the successful eventing stallion Benedict
, an approved stallion and a *** event horse. Bajar ShA
was the winner of his 100-day performance test in Germany and the sire of many successful eventing and jumping horses. Bajar ShA
is the sire of the famous eventing mare, White Girl
, who competed in the 1992 and 1996 Olympics for the German Team. She was also the 1993 German Trakehner of the year. Dorina is from the Donna mare family. Dorina's dam, Domina, is by the Elite Stallion Argument, a fabulous dressage horse and sire of dressage horses. Domina also has Tuemmler as well as Habicht further back in her pedigree.
Dorina had a colt in 2006, Diallo, by the Trakehner stallion Windfall *Pg*
. Dorina will be bred in 2008 to the Eventing and Jumper stallion Tzigane for the ultimate Jumper foal.
